Dr. Krueger has over 30 years experience meeting the foot care needs of his patients. He began his practice in Indianapolis in 1977. His goal has always been to provide the best possible education to his patients and their loved ones. He strongly believes that once those involved are informed of their Podiatric condition regarding the conditions cause, progression, as well as all treatment alternatives at that time, selection of the best treatment plan becomes an easy decision.
Dr. Krueger received his Associate of Arts degree from Lincoln Junior College, graduating with honors as a member of both Phi Theta Kappa and Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. He received is Bachelors of Science from Northern Illinois University and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1977.
Professionally Dr. Krueger is board certified by the American Council of Lower Extremity Surgery. He is a member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association. He has held numerous positions in the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association both elected and appointed including two terms as president. He is an active member of its Past Presidents’ Council and has received several awards from this association including Podiatrist of the Year, Boss of the Year and the Meritorious Service Award.
Before joining Meridian Health Group, Dr. Krueger has practiced both in solo as well as group podiatric practices. In addition, Dr. Krueger was a member of Joslin Diabetes & Endocrinology-Indianapolis affiliate, Curative Health Wound Center at Winona Hospital, and Director of Podiatric Services at Hawley Army Hospital at Fort Benjamin Harrison. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member for external programs, for both the William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Krueger is a member of the educational and administrative staff of The Robert M. Palmer, MD., Institute of Biomechanics, in Elwood.
Dr. Krueger was born and raised in Chicago. He and his wife Elaine have been married since 1973. They moved to Indianapolis in 1977. They have 3 grown children who live in San Jose California, Denver Colorado, and West Lafayette Indiana. In his leisure time he enjoys reading mysteries, traveling and spending time with his family.
